As a member of the Gloucester community, you can take pride in how your Library puts its Annual Appeal income to work. We took money raised from Annual Appeals to make significant improvements to the Sawyer Free Library this year including the Main Floor, Reference Department and Children’s Library. |
In their letter to the community, President of the Library Board, Mary Jane McGlennon and Library Director, Roger Brisson detail how the annual appeal impacts building updates, book selections, and programming. The Library would like to continue improvements with new carpet in the staff work space, make repairs and paint the Sawyer Mansion, and increase the book budget. Please consider making a contribution to enable the Sawyer Free Library to continue in its 176th year as the literary and information center of Gloucester.
