LIBRARY CARDS
Adult library cards will be issued to anyone with positive identification such as a driver's license, utility bill or checkbook.
You must have your library card or picture ID with you to check out materials. You will also receive a PIN number to access your account online. Online account access allows you to:
view checked-out items
renew items
view fines
place, view or cancel holds
You can also add your email address to receive hold notifications by email.
Parents/Guardians may obtain a card for their child, infant - grade 6.
Please report all changes of address or phone number to the library as soon as possible.
LOAN PERIOD
28 Day: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Audio Books, Paperbacks, Music Cassettes
14 Day: New Fiction
7 Day: DVDs, Videos, CDs, Magazines
1 Day: Museum Passes
Renewal policy: 28 day material may be renewed in person, online, or on the phone
for an additional 14 days, if there are no current holds.
FINES
Adult and Young Adult Material $0.20 per day
Children's Material $0.10 per day
DVDs/Videos $1.00 per day
Museum Passes $6.00 per day
All fines are used to support SFL.
RESERVING AN ITEM
Interlibrary loan requests may be made online or at the Adult or Children's circulation desks. If an item is unavailable locally, the Reference Department can request it from another library system. You will be notified by phone, mail, or email when the item is ready for pick-up. Some items may not be available through interlibrary loan.

MUSEUM PASSES

Cape Ann Historical Museum
Admits 4 people per pass free of charge. Two passes available Tuesday-Sunday.
Closed in February.

The Children's Museum, Boston
(coupon) Admits up to 4 people per pass for $2.00 per person, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

Admits four people free of charge per pass, April-October only. Two passes
available per day.

Admits four people free of charge. One pass available. Daily Memorial Day-Labor Day,
off season open weekends only.

Admits four people for $5.00 per person, Tuesday-Friday, three passes available per day. Admits two people for $5.00 per person Saturday only, two passes available; Admits two people for $5.00 per person Sunday/Holidays, two passes available.

Entitles bearer to free parking for over 50 day-use facilities in the state park system.
