Sawyer Free Library Card
Any resident of Gloucester, Massachusetts may obtain a free Sawyer Free Library card. If you already have a card issued by another NOBLE library, you may use that card at Sawyer Free Library without registering for a new card. Learn how to get a card on our Getting a Library Card page.
You may use your library card to check out, request, and renew items, including electronic materials, as well as log onto the public computers and reserve museum passes. If you forget to bring your card, please have your identification ready so we can look up your record. You may also show a picture of your signed card on your mobile device.

Boston Public Library eCard
Boston Public Library eCards are virtual library cards that allow users to instantly use all of the Library’s remotely-accessible electronic resources. It is available to any state resident who is 13 years of age or older, in-state student or employee, or Massachusetts property owner.
Sign up for a BPL eCard to access an account in BPL’s online catalog that allows you to rate, review, and share the books, movies, and music that you love; electronic resources, including a large variety of databases with magazine, journal and newspaper articles, subject-specific literature, and art and music; downloadable eBooks, audio, video, and music from BPL’s own collection; digital magazines to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or smartphone; and streaming media that includes movies, television episodes, music, and audio books.
The eCard does not allow you to check out Boston Public Library materials or museum passes.
